Coachning - Panel discussion and Interview

Take advantage of our tips on how to successfully carry out a recording in the form of a panel discussion or interview during the planning stage, on the recording day, and after the recording has been completed.

Example 30

Interview (Higher Education in Focus) about a student-led teaching activity. The conversation is recorded in the lounge area in front of a grey background. To create variation in the recording, three different cameras are used.

Example 31

Interview (UppTalk). UppTalk uses three screens as a background displaying thematic images connected to the content. The studio is furnished with a standing table and two chairs. The recording uses a three-camera production with multiple zoom positions.

Example 32

Conversation in the lounge (Erik and Hedda) with inserted PowerPoint slides. For example, at 00:54 in the film, you can see how Erik and Hedda display images from a PowerPoint presentation while discussing them. This is managed in real time during the recording.

Example 33

Interview with a three-camera production (HR Department) and a lit background. A three-camera production is used throughout the recording.

Example 34

Conversation between two persons on the lounge sofa (Therése and Pascale). A two-camera production. Pascale is interviewed by Therése and talks about research in a way that can be used by students in courses and programmes.

Example 35

Interview focusing on robotics (UppTalk). The recording includes thematic background images related to the content, a three-camera production, and the robot dog Loke positioned on the floor.

Example 36

Three-camera production and subject-specific objects displayed on the table (Department of Art History). A discussion about being a doctoral student, intended to inspire other doctoral students. The subject-specific objects are used to create a distinctive atmosphere in the film that connects to the discipline.

Example 37

Discussion combined with a lecture and question-and-answer session (SciFest). The recording begins with a lecture at the lecture position in front of an illuminated grey background and is followed by a discussion at the Small TV Studio position.
