Embed an Image

Begin by editing the page or assignment you want to add the image to. 

  1. Click Insert > Image
  2. A. Click Upload Image to choose an image from your computer or an external source outside of Studium. 
    B. Click Course Images if the image is saved in your course files.
    C. Click User Images if the image is saved in your user files.


 

A. Upload Image

There are three ways you can upload images to a page in Studium. 

  1. Computer — Very often the image is saved to your computer. You can click the image of the rocket-ship to open your computer's file explorer. Find your image and then upload it. (Alternatively you can drag and drop the image from your files to the rocket-ship.)

    Next you can add an image alt text.
    And once you are done, click Submit at the bottom. 



  1. Unsplash — Unsplash is no longer integrated into the RCE but can still be used at their webpage: www.unsplash.com Links to an external site.

 

  1. URL — If your image is hosted externally, you may want to embed it in the page using the URL. Paste in the URL in the box.

    Next you can add an image alt text.
    And once you are done, click Submit at the bottom.  


 

B. Course Images

If you have already uploaded the image to the course before, it will have been automatically saved in your course files. Click Insert > Image > Course Files, this will open a side panel with all the images used in your course. 

  1. If you know the image filename you can search for it here.
  2. Simply click on an image to add embed it in the page.


 

C. User Images

If you have uploaded your images to your User Files in Studium, then you can click Insert > Image > User Images to find it.


 

 

 

Resize an Image

You can change the size of an image in two ways:

  • Click the corner of the image and drag the image to make it bigger or smaller.
  • Alternatively, click the image, click Image Options and specify the image size in pixels.
