There are several features that automatically become available once you divide students into groups in Studium.

A group home page - A place where students can collaborate together on projects, create pages and share files with one another. Read more about how students can work together in group home pages.
Group assignments - The students within the group can be graded as a whole or individually. Read more about group assignments.
Group discussions - Only students within the group can discuss the topic with each other. Read more about group discussions.
Filter the Gradebook - The ability to filter the Gradebook via student groups.

Divide the students into groups

Depending on how you want to divide your students into groups, you can choose to divide them manually or let Studium divide them automatically. If you want the students to choose their own groups, you can allow them to do so as well.

Where Can Students Find Their Groups?

Via the Global menu — Students can find a list of their groups via the icon Groups in the global menu. They can click "all groups" at the bottom of the list to view all their course groups with their respective courses.

Course Home Page — When a student enters their course they will have a list of all their groups within that course in the right menu.

People > Group tab — Students can find all their groups within a specific course via People in the course menu > Groups. If an instructor has asked a student to self-enroll to a group, they will be able to do so here.
