Guide to logging into Studium
How you log in to Studium depends on what type of user you are.
UU staff or students
Staff means that you are an employee of Uppsala University and as such have been issued with a username and password. Student means that you are registered on a course at Uppsala University in Ladok and have been issued with a student account at UU, with a username and password and an email address ending in student.uu.se. It is common for doctoral students to have both kinds of account and to log in according to whether they are doing so in their capacity as a student or as a member or staff.
Other universities and higher education
This means that you are employed at another university or other higher education institution in Sweden and as such have a username and password issued by that institution. You can use these to log in via SWAMID. If you do not already have a user account in Studium, one will be created for you; however, in order to view a course you will need to be admitted to the course under that username and password.
Others
This applies to anyone not included in any of the above categories. This includes international delegates, doctoral students, visiting lecturers, etc., as well as, for example, municipal employees attending contract education courses. In order to log in you will need an administrator to create a user account for you. As a rule, your username will be the email address you notify to the administrator at the department. Your password will either be one you choose yourself or one issued to you.
