Search student is a tool used to see collected information about a student. It is deployed at department level and therefore it requires authorization at department level to be used. You are required to have one of the following roles in order to access this tool: Department Administrator, Department Administrator Light, or Reading Permissions.

You can find the tool via the Admin button in the global menu > in the left navigational menu for your department.

The basic information you get when using Search Student is:

Name
Social security number (as of today, this is what you need to enter to find a student)
username (user id)
E-mail
ladok ID
when the student's user account was created in Studium

When you search for a student, the courses that the student has participated in via Studium and any related assessments can be seen. The courses are displayed in a list. The list is in alphabetical order after course name. The course name is also a link to the course page in Studium. This link only works for those who have access to the department to which the course belongs. However, it is possible to see the student's assignments and related assessments regardless of the course's department affiliation.
