Suspended students in Studium

Suspensions of students are handled from Ladok. This means that the student is excluded from all course sections in Studium that have a connection to Ladok, including course sections (ladok sections) that are included in joint courses.

This applies:

• When the date for the suspension occurs, all participation for the student is set to status inactive and a message (Studium message, not email) is sent to everyone with the course role Teacher, Course director, Programme Administrator or Kursadministratör, on all courses where the student participates and where the end date for the course has not passed.
• If the student is registered for a course during the suspension, the new participation for the student is set to inactive status.
• When the closing date for the suspension occurs, participation in all courses is set to active status for the student, no notification is sent at this time.

The student's status

In all Ladok sections, whether they are in different joint courses and no matter how many joint courses there are, the suspended student is set to status inactive.

In manually created sections the suspended student is also set as inactive.

Each department is responsible or controlling that suspended students are inactive in all sections in Studium.
