Project
After the main 5hp course you are encouraged to carry out a project (preferably 1-4 participants in each team), although it is not mandatory. The main purpose of these projects is to provide the opportunity to learn more about concepts relevant to the course and for successfully doing this you will get payed 3hp. Some of the projects usually produce fruitful ideas/starting points for new research directions.
If you are doing the project with more than 1 group member, all group members should sign up for a project group before you submit your proposal. Do do that here and then go to the tab "Groups". If you do the project alone, you can submit without signing up for a group.

Brief description of the steps mentioned above.
Project Proposal: The report should explain the project background, the data set, the idea and how the work will be carried out. Upper page limit: 2. For the presentation, each team has 5-10 minutes for presentation and discussion.
Final Report: Final project report, clearly explains what has been accomplished within the project. The data set used should also be properly introduced. Upper page limit: 6.
Final Presentation: The projects will be presented in an online poster session.
You can discuss things related to the project here, for example if you are looking for colleagues to do the project with (however, you can do the project on you own as well).
Poster session
The poster session will be done in breakout-rooms in zoom. Each project will get two minutes to pitch the project. After that project group will move to a breakout room and the remaining participants can move around freely. We divide the projects into two batches such that everybody visit other's posters. Here you find the schedule for the poster session.
