Instructions on writing the project report, 7.5 credits/15 credits

The overall format should be similar to that of a scientific article.

The report should be divided in the major sections: Title, Author(s) and affiliation, Abstract, Introduction, Results, Discussion, Material and Methods, Acknowledgements and References.

At the end of the report, include a short statement describing what your contribution has been to the experiments and if you have received help from others in the research group.

Using ChatGPT or similar GAI tools is optional and may only be used as language tool or to get an initial overview of the field. You must refer to your sources using footnotes and add a bibliography at the end of the report. If you use any such aid, you must enclose a declaration, including a short description of how you used GAI and on what basis you still claim that the report is independent.

The report should be about 5000 words for a 15 credits project and 3000 words for a 7.5 credits project long (not including references or appendices).

Remember:

Use a consistent style (g. bold) for all headings/subheadings.
Number the pages!
Use spell checking programmes
Use a correct and consistent reference system
No paraphrasing, and copying of other sources, the report will be checked for plagiarism
The report will be checked for plagiarism via Ouriginal but exempted from being saved in the database
Follow the guidelines to avoid cheating and plagiarism
include ethical permits and ethical considerations, if not applicable- add statement

Submit the final version of your report in Word format to Studium (due date see assignment).
