Instructions for your BBB4 assignment- writing a PhD proposal.

Regardless whether your next step in the career will be in industry or academia, writing a project proposal will be of use very soon. Your PhD proposal can be in the topic you already might have submitted a PhD application or a PhD position you would like to apply for, or a novel project relating to your master degree project.
You will first submit a concise summary of your proposed project and after feed-back you can expand to a full proposal, which you will individually present and discuss with reviewers (date TBA). The first summary of the proposed project will be submitted 11 April and the full proposal 30 May, not to interfere with your master's degree project presentations and thesis writing.

Other options for BBB4 can be:

-2) for you that have studied in Groningen year 1 and are planning to continue with PhD in Groningen (and have found a PI there) can compete for funding of a PhD project in Groningen. You will then have to contact Machteld and Meike to receive instructions for their BBB4.

-or 3) initiate a start-up-company for implementing your concrete idea.
