Advanced ChIP techniques: overview
Chromatin immunoprecipitation followed by sequencing (ChIP-seq) is a central method in epigenomic research. Since its first publication in 2007, ca 70 000 data sets obtained using ChIP-seq have been deposited in public data repositories. Recently, several new ChIP based methods have been developed, which attempt to overcome technical challenges with the original ChIP-seq protocol. We present several of these new methods in this class.
