- Mycology at SLU (3 credits) January 15th - January 28th
- Parasitology at SLU (4 credits) January 29th -February 18th
- Clinical infections and vaccinology at BMC (8 credits) February 19th - March 25th

WELCOME TO THE MYCOLOGY COURSE PART AT SLU JANUARY 15-28th 2024
More information about the course will be provided at the mandatory roll call Monday 15/1 at Sal Z - Ulls hus, D-blocket, SLU. Also, please check the course home page regularly for possible updates of the schedule.
You will be assigned to groups that will carry out a Literature Study as a group work with presentations on Monday 22/1 at 10.00-16.00. See the Literature Study Instructions file for more on this.
Participation in the roll call, the laboratory exercises, the literature study (with presentation), the keynote lectures and the exam is mandatory.
The course book is Medical Microbiology by Murray et al. (9th edition).
Participation in the lectures is voluntary but strongly recommended since the exam will be based on the lectures, several of which cover topics not dealt with in the course book. To pass the course you must participate in the mandatory parts and pass the written exam.
The exam will be held Friday the 26th of January.

WELCOME TO THE PARASITOLOGY COURSE PART
More information will be given during the course introduction and roll call January 29th at SLU, Sal Z, Ulls hus block D, but also make sure to check the information here on Studium regularly for updates.
Participation in the roll call and symposium is mandatory. Although all lectures are voluntary we strongly recommended attending these as we know this helps for the understanding of the subject and helps for the exam.
The exam will be held 16th of February.

WELCOME TO THE CLINICAL INFECTIONS AND VACCINOLOGY COURSE PART
The clinical infections and vaccinology part of the course will be given on campus this year.
More information about the course will be provided at the mandatory roll call at BMC on February 19th. Also, please check the course home page regularly for possible updates of the schedule.
Participation in the roll call, case studies, laboratory exercises, seminars, the literature study (with presentation) and the written exam is mandatory (shown as “compulsory” in the course schedule, and all on campus).
The exam will preliminary be held March 18th.
Participation in the lectures is voluntary but strongly recommended since the exam will be based on the lectures. To pass the course you must participate in the mandatory parts and pass the written exam.

Exam information
Please note that the exams start at the full hour and not quarter past (e.g. 8:00 instead of 8:15). Furthermore, do not forget to take an valid ID (that has your photo) and your student account login with you on the exam day!
You need to register for the exams at least 12 days beforehand. You will be able to see the registration periods and do the registrations in "Ladok for Students", which you can find the link to on the left side.
