Welcome to the course!

The course includes antimicrobials, resistance, epidemiology and evolution. This course is divided into two main parts: Microbial evolution and epidemiology (March 31st - April 29th ) and Antimicrobial drugs, development and resistance (May 5th- June 8th).

Registration is done online after you have activated your student account. Links to an external site. You can register from March 17th until March 30th at the latest. If you are unable to register, please send us an email to inf.biol.master@imbim.uu.se before the deadline has passed, and we can help you. 

The course starts with a mandatory roll call and general introduction on BMC campus on the 31h of March. You should only come to the roll call if you do not have any symptoms of illness, notify us as soon as possible by email if you cannot come.

Exams

There are two digital written exams on the course and will be held:

Microbial evolution and epidemiology - 2025-04-29

Antimicrobial drugs, development and resistance - 2025-06-03

Please note that the exams start at the full hour and not quarter past (e.g. 8:00 instead of 8:15). Furthermore, do not forget to take an valid ID (that has your photo) and your student account login with you on the exam day!

You need to register for the exams at least 12 days beforehand. You will be able to see the registration periods and do the registrations in "Ladok for Students", which you can find the link to on the left side.

Support for disabilities

If you are in need for special support during the exam, please inform your Course administrator as soon as possible after the course start. You need to also notify the need while registering yourself to the exam.
